As usual, I was way too excited to try the newest Influenster product to do an unboxing >_> BUT I hope you all don't mind as I go on and review anyway without it. :) What is the product? None other than CoverGirl's newest mascara by lashblast: Full Lash Bloom. What can it do? According to the packaging, it:
Initial Impression - Pics My first impression is that the wand tip [brush] looks to be very flexible, the detailing tip looks a lot more functional, and may remove the excess product build up some flat-tipped mascara wands have. The pattern of the wand bristles being short and long looks like it will separate and fill in every last millimeter of lash, unlike standard bristle-brush wands. When dipped, wand was evenly and thoroughly coated, with almost no noticeable clumping of excess product on the bristles. Formula was very very creamy, without being oily. No harsh smell, unlike some other name-brand "full but natural" mascara I've tried. Before & After, First coat As one of those who is not among the OMG WOW natural lash length party of people, mascara is a key part of my make-up regime. I applied full make-up before putting the mascara on. Shown below is naked lashes on the left, and the initial coating/swipe of Bloom. Final Look and Thoughts After applying the first coat to both eyes, I immediately went back and put a second coat, lifting and separating the lashes even more. The first coat seemed to put a base layer of product on but didn't do much in the department of lifting and separating. The second coat however was almost magical. I easily saw 3x the length of my naked lashes, 3x the fullness, and a serious improvement to the separation. After the mascara fully dried, which wasn't maybe half an hour later, I touched my lashes, swiping back and forth. With standard mascara this would put flakies on my finger, in my eyeballs, and would cause tightness and tugging at my eyelid from the stiffness and clumping that would be there. With Lash Bloom, my lashes still feel very soft, release no flakies upon my eyeballs OR fingers, and cause no stiffness or tightness when touching or just wearing. I can't even tell I have mascara on. When touching, it honestly feels like natural lashes, but fuller, as if I miraculously grew a few hundred more lashes overnight and they decided to be super long and amazing. Would I buy it?Without hesitation, absolutely YES YES YES. Where can YOU buy it? Full Lash Bloom is available at Walmart, for $6.99 - $8.99. Make sure to check your local store!! "I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."
