Fireworks If you follow me on Twitter, you will have seen THIS sneak peek of changes coming to the way the Maven program is provided, so this is no surprise. But hints were dropped of a NEW glider colour, just in time for the change. TA DA! Here it is! Radiant Amethyst Last, but most certainly not least, are the gorgeous & juicy polishes coming with this oceanic collection. MORE JELLIES! IsabellaSecond vault colour - MorganPollyLoriSamJacquelineLillianTiffanySuseManda It was so hard not to look up every detail of this box before I got it. I WANTED to be totally surprised, especially already knowing it was Peter Pan related, but twitter and instagram basically ruined the surprise by plastering reveals of it E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E. Well it FINALLY arrived today, and straight away I could smell that there was a little musk whipped in with this box, which I love, and I couldn't wait to get my little paws inside! Opening the items, and touching ALL the things, my nose didn't lead me wrong. Where last season with the Wonderland box, there were a few too many floral things [I ADORED the eat me stuff, though, and regret not buying more while I could. I would, if given the chance, stock up on every possible Eat Me item that could be made.], this time the sweet fruity musk emanating from the box is just perfect. And the SPARKLES! You'll see what I mean. It's the BEST! If you're interested in buying any of these products, why not take $5 off any $30 order? If you're interested, please feel free to use my referral link! I help you, and you definitely help me. <3 Second Star to the Right"A happy thought and a bit of pixie dust. Glitter can't make you fly, silly...this isn't an acid trip!" Described as crushed berries and mint leaves with a splash of sparkling pomelo, served over iced sugarcane, Second Star to the Right is a beauty to behold, visually and aromatically. With pieces of glitter throughout, and out of this world colour swirls, this infamous soap hasn't let down this month. No matter which way you spin it, you're looking right out at space, trying to find your second star. Tink"Do you believe in fairies? Ok, good...we can be friends" Described as fresh cherries in cream, sprinkled with toasted coconut and a fairy dusting of powder sugar, Tink's sweet smell is only slightly tainted by the alcohol of the Hand Sanitizer. If you ask me, though, it smells less like alcohol and more like Tink stamping her feet. The cherries are strong, and sweet, and the pixie dust sprinkled through the entire thing makes you feel like you're getting ready to fly. Lost Boys"Get lost for peach sake! Just don't lose your marbles..." Described as Golden apricot muddled with fresh white peaches, Lost Boys initially was a turn off for me when I had only read the description. I like peaches, but don't leap at the idea of wearing them; And I absolutely don't like apricots. But, this soft whipped cream actually works these two together really really well. I don't feel like it's either apricots or peaches necessarily, just a very light and soft fruity scent. Mermaid Lagoon"Our coconuts bring all the mermaids to the lagoon - but watch out, they'll probably drown you! Them beaches..." With not much description, as far as scent, it's still very clear coconut is the prevailing scent. It instructs you you shake more than twice to use, and to have fun playing with it. You can see the two separate liquids inside and it IS definitely fun to play with. Warning: May stain clothing! Kiss"Here's a thimble, pucker up!" Described as exotic watermelon, juicy pineapple and coconut water, bursting with fresh citrus juices, Kiss is cute in its small container and powerful enough to smell great from afar. Sniffing just the container, you smell more of the coconut, but when you actually put it on your lips it's the kicking watermelon and citrus that takes over. Smooth and easy to apply, it feels silky on the lips. The Boy Who Never Grew Up"Boys don't want to grow up & girls just want to have fun! Why can't we have both?!" Described as a Tropical margarita - served with a salted rim, this salt scrub is definitely the scrub yo mama used. You know, when she's not surrounded by all the kids. I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but it smells AMAZING, and definitely makes me want a real margarita. Wendy Bird"Don't be afraid to raise your arm and flip the bird...the Wendy bird that is! What were you thinking?!" Described as bright, green apple with a balmy, tropical twist, Wendy Bird is a cute gel-type veggie protein deodorant with cool blue colouring. Applies smooth, and clear like most gel-type deodorants do. Definitely leaves a sweet apple scent, and while a little small and unyieldy doesn't run out super fast. Just a few spins, and it was more than enough to do both arms. The Captain"Call yourself a cod fish - don't smell like one!!" Described as dewy magnolias and wild berries drenched with fresh cream, this shower steamer is stand-out from the rest. You would think it would be super musky, being that it represents Captain Hook, but instead it plays on his pampered nature. It's decadent, and delicious, and very reminiscent of a delicious breakfast by the islands. And finally, the whole box was topped off with a bright red feather, the perfect size to slip into your very own Pan Hat. Because you definitely have one, right? I know I will soon! It was like a cute promise of Pans to come. So, did you love the collection? What are you most excited to try? Without having had the chance to try ALL the things, I think I'm most excited for the Fortune Cookie Soap, and Tink. They smelled the most amazing, for me, and I'm itching to have a good long shower to try as many of these as possible. Sad you missed out on this Pantastic Summer box? It's okay, you're JUST in time to sign up for the FALL Fortune Cookie Soap Box! You'll get all kinds of great stuff JUST like this, in a collection tailor-made for the fall season.
And on top of having TWO [count 'em TWO] unique colours in each box, Julep has teamed up with BRIKA to also include a GORGEOUS clutch! Same amazing price, even MORE awesome stuff!

PLEASE NOTE Due to a family emergency, I have been unable to add my links to each polish. If you would like to order via my affiliate link I would be very grateful, and would be more than happy to include those if you let me know! This evening if I'm able to get to a computer, I will update this post to include those. Thanks for understanding! <3 Connie Connie is a bright violet purple from the Classic with a Twist profile. Although Connie is my fiance's favourite shade of polish for me to wear, and one of the only shades of purple I'm willing to wear, the formula was extremely difficult to work with. A juicy crelly finish, it took ages to dry and when it did even three coats were streaky, with nail lines visible quite clearly underneath. Drew Drew is a beautiful hot pink from the Bombshell profile that is back from the Vault! Dried extremely quickly, super evenly, to a fine glossy creme finish. I can't praise this one enough, even though it differs every so slightly from the true old version. Given pigments vary based on source, I think it's to be expected, and it was at least a very very slight difference. Jenna Jenna is a soft creamsicle orange from the Classic with a Twist profile. Dried very quickly [If you haven't noticed Julep's creams/cremes are fantastic at drying quickly] and to a super glossy finish. Very even, two coats would have probably been fine, typical of cream/creme polishes from Julep. Randi Randi is a hot pink reminiscent of every girl's Barbie entourage from the It Girl profile. Dried somewhat quickly, and due to the super neon pigments had a semi-gloss finish. [Neons are notorious for drying matte or partially matte]. Wasn't streaky in its full three coats, but was a little bit thicker than the others so two coats would have been fine. Cassidy Cassidy is a neon aqua/teal from the Bombshell profile. Dried quickly, was very creamy, and once again super glossy in finish. Please excuse the bumps on the nails, the acetone between swatches was starting to dry out my nails, causing pieces to stick up. Very good coverage in three coats. Danica Danica is a cobalt blue to deep purple shifty shimmer from the Boho Glam profile. Dried quickly, was brush strokes were slightly visible in some spots due to the metallic shimmer of the polish but not deeply so. Had a gloss to the finish, but not a super gloss like the cream/cremes. In the bottle, Danica looks grape-purple. On the nails, it looks like a beautiful cobalt blue; But when angled on the nails, you can start to see the grape-purple. The purple was VERY difficult to photograph, but in the tilted image you can start to see some purple in the highlights.
Angie - Holographic Angie is a fairly bright silver holographic from the Boho Glam profile. Dried very quickly, two coats would have been enough but there were some minor streaking issues so a third coat had to be applied to cover those few spots up. Finish was very silk/matte once dry, and super soft to the touch. Danielle Danielle is a super shifty blue to purple shimmer from the It Girl profile. Dried normally, two coats was perfect coverage. The shift is shown on the edges slightly, however in person tilting the nails up gave the impression it was 100% purple in colour. Honestly, the hardcore shift in this caught me off guard in the best way imaginable. Dried normal gloss, due to the metallic nature there were some brush strokes visible. April April is a neon/spicy hot coral from the Boho Glam profile. Dried normally, two coats were plenty as is normal for Julep cremes. Clean up was painfully tedious, with lots of bleeding happening. Final finish was pretty darn glossy, and the colour is SUPER wearable. No streaks, no brush strokes visible, nothing abnormal about this polish. Just another perfect creme! Addison Addison is a bright sunny yellow from the It Girl profile. Photographed very pale, in actuality is what I would call a 'true' yellow. Leans slightly green in the bottle, but is super bright on the nail. If requested, I can alter the above image until it matches what it looks like in real life. Shown with 3 coats, could actually use more. Very streaky to apply, many lines and streaks visible with even the number of coats I have now. A base coat of white will be needed for this polish to boost the bright colour, as well as provide a starting platform to build colour on. Typical to neon colours, the finish was slightly matte once dry, but still glossy enough you may be able to wear it without topcoat if you so wish.
